Admission Process – Aerolider’s Professional Pilot Program

To join our Professional Pilot Program, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Minimum Age: 17 years old

  • Documentation: Valid passport

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • Training Readiness: Ability to operate the aircraft designated in the program

Admission Process At Aerolider, we understand that relocating to the United States to become a professional pilot is a major step. That’s why our team will support you through every stage of the process, ensuring a smooth transition—from your application to your first job with a U.S. airline. 1. Initial Contact and Information Request The process begins when you complete our online form with your basic information. From there, our team will contact you to provide details about the program and guide you through the next steps. 2. Application Submission When the enrollment period opens, we’ll help you prepare and submit your application properly to ensure you meet all requirements. 3. Document Management To continue with the admission process, you’ll need to submit certain documents. We will guide you through the collection and submission, including: Valid passport High school diploma or equivalent 4. Obtain a First-Class Medical Certificate To begin pilot training in the U.S., this medical certification is required. We’ll support you throughout the process, which includes: Scheduling an appointment with an FAA-authorized Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) Attending your medical evaluation Receiving the certification to move forward 5. Online Assessments Once your application is submitted, you’ll complete a series of tests designed to evaluate your aptitude for aviation. Don’t worry—our team will guide you through this step. 6. Interview Before receiving conditional acceptance, you will participate in an interview. We’ll provide coaching and preparation to help you succeed. 7. Financial Advising and Proof of Funds To secure your spot in the program, you must demonstrate that you have the financial resources to cover your training costs. Our team will advise you on this and assist with the necessary documentation. 8. Enrollment Agreement Once approved, you’ll sign your Aerolider Enrollment Agreement, officially securing your place in the program and beginning your journey to becoming a professional pilot in the United States.

Graduate Profile

Our aviation consulting division supports airlines and companies in the U.S. in their search for qualified pilots and mechanics. To meet this demand, we’ve designed a comprehensive program that trains you as a competitive professional pilot with a degree in Aeronautical Science. Complete your training in under 15 months, become a flight instructor, and build the 1,500 flight hours required to obtain your Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license. With these qualifications, you’ll be ready to join one of our partner airlines.

Step 1: Financing Your Training At Aerolider, we understand that investing in your training is a key part of your journey. That’s why we’ll help you explore various financing options to make your dream of becoming an airline pilot a reality. Certifications and University Degree Included in the Program Throughout your training, you’ll earn all the certifications required to build your career in aviation, along with a university degree in Aeronautical Science—broadening your opportunities in the industry. Certifications included in the program: Private Pilot License (PPL) Instrument Rating (IR) Commercial Pilot License – Single Engine (COM-SE) Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) Commercial Pilot License – Multi Engine (COM-ME) Airline Transport Pilot Certification (ATP) Our commitment is to support you every step of the way, ensuring you have everything you need to complete your training and reach your goal of flying for a U.S. airline.

Step 2: Start Your Training – In Just 4 Months* At Aerolider, we offer a program designed for students with little or no aviation experience, providing the best preparation for a safe and successful career in aviation. The full training lasts approximately 15 months and requires a full-time commitment, with study and flight training at least 5 days a week. Our innovative training program combines: Simulator sessions and digital learning platforms Ground school instruction Aircraft flight training *Program duration may be affected by factors such as aircraft and examiner availability, weather conditions, and the student’s level of commitment to training.

Paso 3: Continúa tu entrenamiento -Habilitación de Vuelo por Instrumentos (IR) – en aproximadamente 3 meses* -Licencia de Piloto Comercial Monomotor (CPLSE) – en aproximadamente 3 meses* En Estados Unidos, la aviación por instrumentos tiene un enfoque más riguroso y práctico que en muchos otros países. Step 5: Complete Your Pilot Training – In Approximately 15 Months Congratulations! At this stage, you’ll be finalizing your professional pilot training in the United States. To meet program requirements and move toward job placement with an airline, it’s essential to complete your training and obtain the necessary certifications. While timelines may vary depending on aircraft availability, exams, and other factors, the general process includes: Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) – approximately 2 months* Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument (CFII) – approximately 1 month* Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot (ME) – approximately 1 month* With these certifications, you will have completed your training and be fully prepared to access career opportunities in the U.S. aviation industry.

Step 6: Build Experience and Prepare for Your ATP Certification At this stage, you’ll complete a final evaluation to ensure you meet all required standards and secure your path toward employment with a U.S. airline.
